Our website may be used without entering personal information. Different rules may apply to certain services on our site, however, and are explained separately below. We collect personal information from you (e.g. name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.). Information is considered personal if it can be associated exclusively to a specific natural person. The provisions below serve to provide information as to the manner, extent and purpose for collecting, using and processing personal information by the provider.

Please be aware that data transfer via the internet is subject to security risks and, therefore, complete protection against third-party access to transferred data cannot be ensured.

With some of the below listed services (particularly but not limited to Google) your data may be stored in the United States of America. We inform you about the risk involved with USA having a less strict right in some areas of data privacy than the EU.

Cookies and consent

On your first visit, a notice asks whether you agree to measurement by Piwik, Google Ads and Google Analytics. These services are only loaded once you have given your consent. Whatever you choose, our website only stores the following information in your browser, which it needs in order to work:

  • limmobi-consent in your browser's local storage: your choice in the cookie notice, until you change it or clear the site data
  • Cookie limmobi-lang: the language you selected, one year
  • Cookie limmobi-ref: where your visit came from, such as a search engine, an ad including its click ID or a referring website, which is passed on to our application when you sign up, 90 days

With your consent, Piwik and Google also set their own cookies, in particular _pk_id and _pk_ses (Piwik), _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (Google Ads) as well as _ga and _ga_… (Google Analytics). What these services collect and how long the cookies remain valid is described in the sections on web analysis services and on Google Ads.

You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the website stops the measurement and deletes the cookies of Piwik, Google Ads and Google Analytics. A Google service that has already been loaded sends at most cookieless signals until the page is reloaded or left (Google Consent Mode). The measurement is based on your consent.

You can also prevent or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some functions, such as the saved language choice, may then not be available.

Use of the web analysis services

With your consent, our website uses the web analysis service Piwik (now Matomo). Piwik runs on a server operated by LIMMOBI AG (bia1.lim.mobi). It tells us how visitors find our website, which pages they view and how many of them open a trial account via "Try for free".

For this purpose, Piwik sets the cookies _pk_id (recognition, 13 months) and _pk_ses (current visit, 30 minutes). Among other things, the page viewed, the time, the referring website, browser, screen size and your IP address are transmitted. Your IP address is anonymised immediately, so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information collected with Piwik is not passed on to third parties.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as Google. For this purpose, Google sets the cookie _gcl_au and, if you come to our website via a Google ad, the cookie _gcl_aw with an ID of this ad click (90 days each). If you then click "Try for free", we and Google learn that an ad click led to a sign-up (conversion tracking). We do not receive any information that allows us to identify you personally.

Google may also add visitors to our website to audiences in order to show them LIMMOBI ads on other websites (remarketing). If you are signed in to Google, Google may link this information to your Google account. You can manage your settings for personalised advertising with Google at:
